What People Are Saying
What a cute shop! I came by to pick up my local honey order this was the first time I came in since then I make frequent stops in to buy local gifts for family. We love the olive oils such a unique variety! The last visit I picked up 5 olive oils my favorite was the Meyer lemon olive oil since we cook a lot of fish.

Yelp ReviewCool little spot. I am not an olive oil aficionado but even I can appreciate this store. Wonderful staff and they patiently walked me through all the different options and flavors. I feel educated. Check it out for yourself and this could make a unique gift as well.

Yelp ReviewThe first I visited this business, the service was mediocre but that was years ago. I went back the other weekend and the guy helping was exceptional! I always feel bad trying the flavors but the guy kept giving me samples. I was in heaven!

Yelp ReviewWent for some spices and had a lovely experience. The employees were so nice and knowledgeable. We ended up trying a few vinegars and some olive oils. 10/10 would but and try again. If recommend the fig vinegar it was sweet and thick and vinegary exactly as expected. Nothing tasted artificial everything was delicately and premiumly crafted.

Defining Extra Virgin Olive Oil Intensity Levels
Extra virgin olive oils come in a variety of intensity levels, allowing you to choose the perfect flavor profile for your cooking:
- Mild Intensity: Smooth and light, with subtle fruitiness and little bitterness, perfect for delicate dishes like salads, baked goods, and light sautéing.
- Medium Intensity: Balanced flavor with a gentle peppery kick and moderate bitterness, ideal for pasta, grilled vegetables, or roasted meats.
- Robust Intensity: Full-bodied with a bold peppery finish and pronounced bitterness, best for heartier dishes like steaks, marinades, and bold sauces.
Each intensity provides unique tasting notes that can elevate any dish.
What Are Polyphenols?
Polyphenols are powerful antioxidants found in extra virgin olive oil that contribute to its anti-inflammatory properties. They help protect your cells from oxidative stress, which is linked to aging and various chronic diseases. High-quality olive oil, particularly cold-pressed, has higher levels of polyphenols, making it a key ingredient in a healthy, balanced diet.
