Not a fan of Thanksgiving turkey? Maybe not expecting a lot of guests to commit to a full turkey? In recent years chicken has been making its way to more Thanksgiving dinners. This can be due to chickens being smaller and more affordable than turkeys. So, if you are looking to switch it up this year, try our simple One-Sheet Chicken and Sausage!

One-Sheet Chicken & Sausage
Equipment
- baking pan
- partchment paper
- Small Bowl
- Whisk
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup Olive Oil (We used Tuscan Herb Olive Oil)
- 2 tbp Balsamic Vinegar (Weused Traditional Balsamic Vinegar)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 3 lbs Chicken Drumsticks & Thighs
- 1 lb Uncooked Sweet Italian Sausage
- Veggies (We used broccoli, red onions, and carrots)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven 400
- Linea large baking pan with parchment paper. This makes clean up easier.
- Whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder,pepper flakes, salt and black pepper in a small bowl. Combine chicken, sausageand veggies in a bowl and drizzle mixture. Toss until everything is wellcoated.
- Place the chicken, sausage and veggies in the lined bakingpan, single layer. Bake for 45 minutes or until the chicken reads 165 degreesin the thickest part.
